Living Next Door to Alice

'They' say that a person should not believe all that is read on the www but reading items like this makes me worry.

Alice Ann Bailey (June 16, 1880 – December 15, 1949)

Apparently this lady had a 10 point plan that was adopted by the UN.

Here is the 10 point plan.

1. Change the curriculum to ensure children are freed from the bondage of Christian culture. Children go to school to be equipped to face life.
2. Break the communication between parent and child. So parents do not pass on their Christian traditions to their children. Liberate children from the bondage of their parent traditions.
3. The Christian family structure is oppressive and it is the core of the nation. If you break the family, you break the nation. Liberate the people from the confines of this structure.
4. Build clinics for abortion. Health clinics in schools. If people are going to enjoy the joy of s*xual relationships, they need to be free of unnecessary fears, such as unwanted pregnancies.
5. Love has got a mysterious link called the love bond. It is like an ovum that comes out of the ovary. Only one other person in the world can respond to that love bond, when you see that person, everything within you clicks. Get that person at whatever cost, even if it means getting them out of their marriage. Don't be held in bondage by Christian values.
6. s*xual enjoyment is the highest pleasure in humanity. No one must be restricted on how to enjoy themselves. People should be allowed in whichever way they choose, whether it is homosexuality, incest or bestiality, as long as all parties agree.
7. Promote new forms of art which will corrupt and defile the imagination of people. Art is the language of the spirit, that which is inside, you can bring out in painting, music, acting, drama etc.
8. The greatest channel you need to use to change human attitude is media.
9. Promote other faiths to be at par with Christianity, and break this thing about Christianity as being the only way to heaven, by that Christianity will be pulled down and other faiths promoted.
10. The church must change its doctrine and accommodate the people by accepting these things and put them into its structures and systems.

I find the time-frame amazingwow

Apparently her 10-point strategic plan to introduce Christless or Christianless education curriculum in the world is an open secret.

Growing a banana tree from a banana...

Growing a banana tree from a banana. That doesn't happen, right? I'm told the only way to grow a banana tree is small trees that sprout from a larger tree. This farming information comes from people who lived in banana growing countries.

When my family moved to Florida, there were a few banana trees growing over the septic tank. The distance down until you hit cement was about 2 feet and the trees uprooted during a hurricane. We didn't replant them so no more bananas in my back yard.
Some 40 years later, my son-in-law started growing bananas that he got from a private pilot who traveled to Venezuela. The pilot brought the small trees over himself. The variety were short 'finger bananas' that were tasty. He was able quickly grow 20 trees and gave me a few small trees.

I cleared an area in my back yard, added top soil and fertilizer, watered them daily... Wow, Banana trees started growing like crazy! A year later, I'm expecting to see some fruit. Two years later, I'm expecting to see some fruit. Three years later, I'm expecting to see some fruit. But nothing.

One weekend, I was doing a yard sale and a woman who introduces herself as the daughter of my neighbor asks about the banana crop. I revealed nothing so far. She said I was using the wrong nutrient. Fertilizer from Home Depot is what I told her. No... she told me I had to put my garbage in the ground... especially eggshells.

She asked for some small trees that I gladly gave her and she said she would return to see the progress. The reason for the yard sale was to get ready to sell my house. I never connected with her again.

The woman who bought my place was Hispanic and loved my huge mango tree and a few years growth of banana trees. Sadly, when I drove by, the banana trees were gone and the mango tree was much, much smaller than when I left.

So, here I am 3 years later, living in a condo community that doesn't allow for any fruit trees. My neighbor is growing papaya and the landscaping crew pulls his trees around the time they bear fruit. Bastards.

On YouTube, I found there are several videos describing how to grow a banana tree from a banana. Eureka! It can be done and they all have nearly the same method.

As long as they are less than 8 feet high, I can grow them on my back screened in porch that get lots of afternoon sunlight. When I have enough, I'll transplant them behind the tall shrubs near the canal along the golf course.

Now, the realty as many of the YouTube photos are 100% BS, you cannot grow a stalk of 30 bananas on a tree that is less than 3 feet tall. Not on planet earth, so I'll have to do the discovery myself. If this doesn't work, I'll go to a plant nursery and buy a tree and start the process all over again.

‘There’s a green mamba in my kitchen sink!’ screams machete-wielding mom

A KwaZulu-Natal south coast woman recently received the shock of her life when she discovered a 1.7m green mamba in her kitchen sink.

The elderly Sezela resident's son immediately called the Crocworld Conservation Centre to remove the reptile.

“I received a call from a young man in Sezela about a large snake discovered in the kitchen,” said Wade Kilian, reptile curator at the centre in Scottburgh.

“Apparently his mother had been packing away dishes before doing another load when she spotted the snake climbing a curtain rail. It took refuge in the kitchen sink beneath a bucket, which is where we found it.”

Kilian said he arrived to find a very nervous, machete-wielding elderly woman shouting about a snake.

"Fortunately her son had alerted the reptile team in time and she had not attempted to kill the snake herself,” he said.

Colour therapy

Colour therapy in astrology suggests zodiacs incorporate hues in their day-to-day life repeatedly and avoid those which disturb the overall harmony of their being.
Unlucky colours for zodiacs and reasons to avoid them:
Aries — black
The first zodiac sign is symbolised by the ram and is influenced by the fire element. The ruling planet of Aries is Mars. Hence, red is its lucky colour. The sign for ambition and drive should avoid black, as it is the colour of Saturn and does not bode well with the sensibilities of the free-thinking ram.
Taurus — dark purple
The earth sign of Taurus, symbolised by the celestial bull, is known to be steadfast, grounded and ruled by the planet of love and money, Venus. Hence, soft hues of white and pink bode well for their temperament. However, it is recommended that they avoid red because it is said to bring out their inherent stubbornness to the fore. Also, they should avoid the darkish tinge of the eggplant purple colour.
Gemini — orange, dark yellow and red
The air sign of Gemini is one of the most curious, interesting, affable and social signs among the zodiacs. Ruled by the planet of communication, Mercury, the mutable sign is denoted by The Twins. The Gemini is known as a dual nature sign. They should not go for warm colours of orange, dark yellow and red, as they disturb their creative energy and play up inherent negative qualities like confusion and restlessness.
Cancer — black and burgundy
Ruled by the moon, the water sign of cancer is the most sensitive among all zodiacs. Gentle and inward-looking, they are usually calm but can often fall prey to overthinking and anxiety. This cardinal sign should avoid black and burgundy to keep negativity away.
Leo — white, pink and pastels
Leo, denoted by the lion, is represented by the Sun. Warm-hearted, generous, magnetic and extremely positive, they are a fixed sign of the zodiac. It is recommended that they stay away from light hues of white, pink, blue and pastels as it might dim their otherwise electric personality.
Virgo — orange
Mercury rules this earth sign denoted by the symbol of the virgin. They are practical and rooted in the physical world. Fastidious and perfectionists, they love to plan everything meticulously. Earth colours like different shades of browns and greens go very well with this sign. They are Virgo’s lucky colours. They should avoid bright hues like orange because it throws them off balance.
Libra — neon
If there were an adjective to describe a Libran, it would be ‘well-balanced’. Denoted by the symbol of a weighing scale, they are governed by the planet Venus. They love everything chic and classy and even their lucky colour palette consists of well-balanced hues. The zodiac’s unlucky colour is fluorescent or neon colours because they are jarring to their inner peace and make them feel imbalanced and out of control.
Scorpio — white and pastel
Ruled by the planet of destruction, Pluto, this water sign is the most intense of all the sun signs and is known for its emotional depth, intuition and spiritual leaning. This fixed sign is passionate and mysterious and connects well with dark colours like black and purple. Any presence of light colours, like light blue, white or pastels, does not align with their core. They might feel out of their mojo with these colours.
Sagittarius — dark brown, dark green and black
The last fire sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius is symbolised by the archer and is ruled by the planet of travel and adventure, Jupiter. This mutable sign loves to go places, both literally and figuratively, and hence, its personality goes well with bright blues and yellows. They should stay away from drab colours with dark brown, green and black tones.

The soul-stealing city Part 3

The soul-stealing city Part 3
Finally, he found a candle and just in time before the candle received from the visitor went out, he managed to light the one he found in the drawer. And that immediately brought him to one thought, "I can continue reading," and before his thought could disappear, his gaze was already focused on the article in the newspaper, which seemed more fascinating than before he stopped reading and which continued to become increasingly captivating. With his eyes fixed on the newspaper and his mind set on that article, his body began to tremble with fear that he felt without understanding why. After a long period of time, something made him remember the words of the visitor, and then he realized that his soul was no longer with him, but somehow they were still connected. And before his gaze could return to the newspaper, he realized that the fear he felt was actually coming from his soul, which remained stuck in the middle of the street, screaming for help. But the young man was so fascinated by the article in the newspaper that he became dependent on it and couldn't help but read it. After hours of reading in that newspaper, his imprisoned soul now in the street gathered all its strength and shouted as loud as it could to our young man, "Help me, don't forget about me, I am part of you." This made him again divert his attention from that fascinating newspaper, and he felt that fear again that his soul felt and that he also felt because of the connection they still had. Only then did he realize that although he had read a lot from that newspaper, it was still on the first page. Thus, he realized that while he was reading the written lines in the newspaper, they disappeared, making others magically appear, a thing that repeated endlessly. That was the moment when he realized that the newspaper was meant to distract him, and because of it, he had wasted a candle that could have remained lit forever. He glanced at the headline in the newspaper, thinking it would be the last thing he would read in that newspaper, and saw that it actually referred to his life. However, it didn't take long before his gaze slipped back to the writing, which became even more fascinating to him, once again capturing his attention. Some time later, his soul gathered its last strengths, desperate and lost in agony, and shouted again towards the young man. This made him once again divert his attention from the newspaper. Then he realized that he was trapped in a kind of hell, where his soul was captive far from him, but both of them were suffering immensely. He looked up and cried out to God to help him escape from there. Shortly after that, he woke up in his bed in his room, and he realized that it had all been a dream. He said, "Thank God I got out of there," and wondered if perhaps it all really happened because it seemed so real, and if God had indeed saved him... or if it had just been a simple dream that seemed endless...

The soul-stealing city Part 2

The soul-stealing city Part 2
As soon as the young man bent down to pick up the newspaper from the ground, he should have realized that something was wrong with that place, as a strong feeling of fear began to creep through his entire body. It was a fear he never thought possible before, but one that he ignored as much as he could. With his eyes fixed on the newspaper, as he rose with the newspaper in his hand, for a moment, he remembered what the visitor had told him, and he tried to redirect his attention/ gaze towards the still burning candle. However, a strong curiosity compelled him to look at the newspaper and see what articles were written there. It took only one glance to completely captivate his attention. He didn't even realize that everything had changed around him, as he had entered his "new home" and stood with his eyes fixed on the newspaper in the middle of the kitchen, facing the window through which only a little moonlight penetrated. For a moment, he remembered again the candle that had burned halfway and thought of finding another one to light when it ran out, otherwise he wouldn't be able to see to read the article in the newspaper that seemed fascinating to him. He searched through the kitchen drawers for a while, but curiosity overwhelmed him again, and he began to read the newspaper again, which became more and more interesting with each line he read. He struggled to lift his gaze and only saw the candle much later, which had now almost burned out. He immediately searched for another candle to replace the first one and maintain that dim light that helped him read. ...
