I think just about everyone has them. We have them with someone in our lives, or having a crush on a celebrity when you're a young teenager.
This blog is about celebrity crushes. I remember when I was 13 years old back in 1980, A movie called "Foxes" came out. I watched it on one of the premium channels (Cinemax, HBO, and Showtime) about a year after it came out (1981). I had a huge crush on Jodie Foster.
Over the past year I have been thinking about that movie with four young women coming of age, and the problems each of them had in their lives. Pretty good movie.
Feel free to share your childhood celebrity crushes.
We've been listening for signs of, and signals from extra terrestrial life for over half a century and not heard a dickie bird.
Should we sending our own signals in a bid to make contact with others, rather than just listening?
If you had the opportunity, what signal would you send into outer space to represent the human race and our planet?
Or to whom it concerns
who will be the next host to THE LATE LATE SHOW
Wouldn't be surprised if this time round for the first time we have a hostess
Anyways, if you're Irish ... thoughts anyone?
if it were your choice, who would you choose?
My own personal choice would be no other but Clare Daly
It's impossible not to pay tribute to our original and best
Jig acting aside
Niall Boylan would be my best man for the job
Should people who believe in reincarnation be excluded from jury service in capital cases?
...we want to be a part of a group.
One of the ways we learn to be a part of the group, is by learning who's not in the group.
Are the politics of the world no more than the politics of the playground?
I just read that Broadway is closing the Phantom of the Opera after 35 years. I saw it performed in San Francisco with a group of friends. So sad it’s going to be shut down. They are shutting it down due to ticket sales dropping due to Covid. This is a clip from the 2004 Hollywood musical. The only movie I love Gerard Butler in. I would take that singing voice over that face any day. More like I would accept his disfigurement because of his singing voice. He is a complete Don Giovanni.
This is my favorite scene from the movie. Aw man I can watch this again and again. At times I feel like the Phantom. Ugly and that nobody wants me. I didn’t say that it’s true. Just how I feel at times. I think that’s perhaps why I love and cherish this musical so much. And I love how the opera house just watches him perform in complete awe. He’s fantastic.
RIP Phantom. You shall be missed.
It is time to relax and enjoy some movie trailers not to mention some stand up comedy...
The first one is a comedy...feel free and post one...
online today!
You can call off the dogs as the Twitter King's prediction that he would be indicted today didn't work out. Hopefully none of you took the midnight train to Manhattan to protest today.
The DA's office made this statement: "We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process, nor will we let baseless accusations deter us from fairly applying the law."
Better luck next week...

And I don't know
Oh, where I'm going
I just want to be left alone
Well, when this train ends
I'll try again, oh but I'm
I'm leaving my woman at home, Lordy
Tuesday's gone, with the wind
