All humans have their own expectations. An expectation is "predicting future according to present conditions & past experiences." In a family life, members' expectations are approximately closer to each other, comparing with those outside this family group because they have relevant "past experiences" and/or relevant "present conditions." Of course, "past experiences" plays an important part since it is related to memories and, of course, memories are related to feelings and emotions, psychologically.
Whenever we make use of the term "expectation", we should not forget about another term, "altruism" if we are going to reduce the possibility of potential clashes between members of a vital social group called "family".
But what is the meaning of altruism? It is defined as "ignoring your own happiness in favor of the happiness of others." Of course, in a cohesive family, happiness of other members must make us happy, too. So, in a family, an altruist ignores one happiness to achieve another happiness. Certainly this happiness is sweeter. We should remember that altruism is "a mutual reaction" so the definition above can be rewritten this way:
"Altruism is a mutual reaction in which one ignores one's own happiness in favor of the happiness of others."
Then a family life can be bolstered if our expectations are managed considering the existence of a phenomenon called altruism.
Of course, these two terms in other groups of society need their own definitions. The blog just discussed these terms in a family life.

Your presence is a present to the world.

Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days, just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through, whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK

Well that was what it was. Pretty much ready to have a nice clean blogslate. And now: this.

i'm just curious are there any good ole country girls who have a ranching background? i am a livestock truck driver and was wondering what most women think about being in a relationship with a truck driver who runs regional but able to be home most every night with the exception of 1-2 nights per week being overnight runs? please let me know what you think in this situation do you think a longterm relation could work effectively?

... from outright calling someone an A**hole. I'm going to give you a sample of my views and what irked me and I will try my DAMNDEST to keep it brief. People were unhappy with former President Bush in the tail end of his second term for various reasons. I'm included in said group. What's sad is that some people outright hate him... and their hatred is based on bullcrap and lies. We are talking fabrications of the most indecent kind... put together by power mongering, race-bating, poor-mongering (you know.. where they get the vote of the poor by claiming they will help... but the poor somehow stay poor) POLITICIANS!!! And when you insult the former President by saying he "sent soldiers to die"... buddy, you are playing with FIRE!!

You uneducated piece of GARBAGE!! WE of the US military VOLUNTEER to join the armed forces and we are DAMN WELL INFORMED of what we may have to go through. You - the spineless, illiterate coward who will remain nameless - even tried to say that former President Bush sent the finest military in existence to kill women and children. You have been fed some pretty wild stories, buddy. Be happy that as a member of the armed forces I would never attempt to physically harm you or anyone who talks like you... even if they said it to my face. We earn our uniforms and dedicate our way of life to being not only model citizens but also defenders of everyone in the country.... even swine like you.

But hey... I know plenty of people who will do what I cannot and will not do... kick your butt for talking like that.

Why do some belittle such dating sites? When are we going to appreciate modern means in this modern--not to say postmodern--world in which cyberspace is just part of humans' reality? If it is a matter of confidence, why don't we learn or practice modern intelligence for attaining confidence?

I hear through these sites lovers meet overseas beloved who are too far away to feel their lovers beside. They ignore some true lovers just because they don't live, for example, in a 5000-KM-distance of theirs! In fact, they are going to choose their lovers from a restricted district so this means if they fail in finding an ideal Mr Right, they can't say there is no Mr Right or they can't say at these sites it is impossible to find a Mr Right! Right? So what should be our pre-requisites for finding a Mr/Miss Right? What about distance? About job! Imagine you have a beloved in another country who can't come to you and you can't go to her. Why? For example, he can't take some days off because he has already taken so many! And she can't either because, for example, she is a university student! What should be done when such probs add insult to injury? And what about the words "Mr Right" & "Miss Right"? Could we have such words at all? What about LOVE? Is it possible to be in a STEADY love with an overseas Lady/man?

Can we have some interesting dialoge please?
Maybe we can talk about something realy taboo!
