Confess All- Confession Booth Is Now Open

The confession booth is open. What do you need to confess? Or, tell us something about you that we probably wouldn't guess! banana

I'll confess that I'm OCD. It's not easy to live with. I've done better over the years, but there's is a certain place for everything in my home. Don't move it or you'll screw up my entire day! wave

A Good Person

What really constitutes a good person? This is one of the questions I have in my life that I long to find the answer for.

Does being an upright citizen equate to being a good man?

Does going to church regularly and paying your colleagues compliments that they are due make you virtuous and moral?

Is it enough to do good things for other people to make you an ethical and just human being?

With all the norms that the society we live in sets for being good, sometimes, it's just too easy to be bad. Whether that takes the form of gossiping about your co-worker, cheating on a test, changing lanes too fast or merely having malicious thoughts of others, I've done all sort of things that I can never be proud of, nor justify.

Sometimes, it's just way too easy to be bad. The idea of being good is occasionally easier said than done. Doing something I already regard as greatly noble may not be good enough to the person sitting next to me.

Let's admit it, we can never please everyone, no matter how we try.

I've just recently stopped apologizing for my existence and started to accept and love myself. I have realized that the key to becoming a truly good person is in also accepting the parts of my personality that I am not very proud of.

I have stopped resisting my nature, instead, tried to work my way around it. I have come to admit that I am not perfect and I do succumb to temptation sometimes. What matters is the fact that everyday, I try to be a better person than I was yesterday. If I fail, I try again.

Somebody once said, "I may not be a nice person, but I am a good human being".

Being good is like beauty. It is a biased, prejudiced, over-rated and subjective issue. I've learned not to put too much pressure on myself with all the standards that our society has. Instead, I try to simplify them by struggling not to step on anyone's shoes. Then maybe... just maybe, I can be a good person in the process.

SYSTEMATIC DESTRCTION OF THE UK FROM WITHIN

BRITISH CONSTITUTION GROUP NEWSLETTER - SEPTEMBER 2009
( CONDENSED VERSION )
> exposing the destruction of our society and country by subversive forces. Topics included our Constitution, Treason, manipulation of the Courts, the
> setting up of private companies in place of public bodies to serve the public, child snatching and the use of a "Third Sector" to steal power from the
> House of Lords, Westminster, MPs, Local Councillors and Parish Councillors.

> It is now even more clear that our society, country, nationality, values and history are being destroyed from within - planned, orchestrated and financed
> by members of our own Parliament and House of Lords, together with their supranational financial backers.
>
> Everything we have, built on the knowledge, values, toil and sacrifice of our forebears is being dismantled piece by piece, step by step, by a conspiracy
> within the establishment in order to create a new 'Post Democratic State' (dictatorship) in Great Britain.
>
> As adults we now find ourselves in a perilous position where freewill and fundamental freedoms are being taken from us. The emerging future is a
> vicious police state under the control of a wealthy pro-European Union elite - a key part of an emerging World Government.
>
> For our children, their future is of a lifetime of enslavement in this new post democratic world system. A state which, left unchallenged and unchecked
> by their parents, will deny our children the opportunity to know and enjoy life in a moral, honest and happy country.

> We have therefore launched a Petition which will make the following demands of our Monarch:
>
> 1. Dissolve the present Parliament IMMEDIATELY and call a General Election as soon as possible thereafter.
> 2. Withdraw UK's unconstitutional ratification of the EU's Lisbon Treaty.
> 3. Order a judicial review to assert the British Constitution.
>
> It's easy to be cynical about what might be achieved with a Petition such as this. Petitions rarely have the desired effect - at least as far as the

> During August, every single day, in hundreds of different towns and cities across the United States, tens of thousands of people were turning up at so-

I want to take one home...

People from the UK have wonderfully amusing accents and ways of speaking! I almost can't stand it! laugh blushing laugh

I had a college teacher who was much older than me... but her accent alone made her.... very attractive to me. Call me crazy. Sometimes I wish I had my very own British cutie (or bonnie Scottish lass, or an Irish girl with fiery hair) to take home with me. I would probably never get bored. laugh wink

no photo yet/ more about me

I have not been able to upload a pic from my stupid smart phone yet, and my comp is down, so I will post one when I can.

In the mean time more about me. I am tall with a "used to be muscular" build. I keep my hair fairly short, sometimes. I have some facial hair, but I usually keep it trimmed. I am separated from my wife, who lives close by and often takes the kids to see her bf. I believe in honesty, but also feel that some details should be spared untill I actually talk to you. (that's not always bad, so just give me a chance to explain before you decide) I am lonley, but not a puppy dog. So I won't beg or wine. I want a friend right now, someone I can talk to and listen to. I do hope it will be more one day, but refuse to place a timeline. I don't want to sell anything short. If it is to be, it will be in due time.not too fast or too slow. Just when it does. I have 3 kids. Ages 6 4 and 2. Two boys, one girl.

I am fairly open about things, so if you want to know, just ask. That simple.

I don't like to overcomplicate, but I still do it sometimes. I don't want high maintenance. I just want fun, simple, outgoing, honest, and the rest will come.

More later

Rule Britania ( England )

How is it that this tiny piece of oblong mud in the north sea has had so much influence on the world and still makes waves in the international way of thinking. We are one of the smallest country's in the world, yet still packing a heavy punch.
I know we shouldn't be proud of all our exploits. But we have much to be proud of.
Britain has the most diverse ethnicity and culture of all European countrys and is the most liberal and free of all!
Ethic migrants are what makes Britain so special.
If we trace back our ancestry, each and every one of us is an imigrant.
Some will argue untill their blue in the face that they are true Brits and right wing people will say this is bo...cks, but only because they are so ignorant to the facts.
England my England, what a great place.

common sense :- don't open if you haven't got any

An Obituary printed in The Times - not a joke and makes you thinkā€¦

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain; Why the early bird gets theworm; Life isn't always fair; and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children,
are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with s*xual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended
from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental
consent to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student; but could
not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and should you do so the burglar would sue you for
assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in
her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by
his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim?

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone.

thumbs up from me teddybear peace not written by me i am not that brainylaugh

Why do people lie to those they love???

It has been seen in many cases that Intimate relationships create opportunities for lying.
When one such relation is developed then why they do so???
