Service In Christ
Apostasy: The rebellion or falling away.
Tim Lahaye: many who confess biblical truth and profess a relationship with God will be simple acting, living a lie, walking as religious charlatans. Apostasy will be intense in the final days before the rapture of the Church. Jude defines apostates as those who turn the grace of God into a license for excessive immorality and deny the lordship of Jesus Christ. Apostates deny the faith because they have not be transformed by the grace of God.
Oswald Chambers: but a strange god was there- the pride the Pharisees. It was a god that seemed religious and upright, but Jesus compared them to white washed tombs which indeed appear beautifully outwardly but on the inside are full of dead man's bones and all uncleanness.
There are a lot of people that take the name of my Lord to a sickening point, makes my stomach ache. Last Christian concert I attended there where 5 bands there,I made sure I wasn't filled that hour. Out of the 5 only one brought the Lord's presence and reality of God to me. Building 4:29 thank you for giving to the Lord that day.
Might say well ??? what's your point?? Sure they played music etc? Yes they sure did, but in any ministry without the Spirit of Grace testifying for your work who are you working for?>??? what are you doing??? Jesus said it plain as day, the Spirit gives life flesh counts for nothing. Many will say Lord, Lord on that day and I will say depart from me, you doers of evil I never knew you.
Without the Spirit of Grace active in our work, our work is in vain. Everyone saying gotta change the world, gotta do this and that and this. Gotta promote Jesus and change who He is for people to believe in Him. Really?? do I>????
You can promote the Lord day in and out apart from Him and your doing nothing but hurting those you promote to.
The reason I have passion and love for my Lord, isn't the words of people, but the reality of His presence in my life. So with that, that tells me what people need and it isn't more idea's to promote Jesus, but more of Him to promote Himself. If a man preached the same Sermon over and over, consumed in the Spirit of Grace, I would listen to Him over and over. Because that anointing brings the reality and love of Christ in my life.
And you con's out there taking my Lord's name in such disrespect and in vain, the atheist that denies His name has a better chance at heaven, THUS SAYS THE LORD. Reason I say that, they don't know any better, you do that simple. Can't play the Lord He has our numbers, and He knows down to the thoughts and motive of your dark hearts. You are a stumbling block to all.
You want to serve the Lord and make it count/?? You want to be the one who the Lord's says on your day of judgement thank you my good and faithful servant? Than simply take His love and expose it to the world, be poured out wine and living water to those in need for it.
Reason Jesus said, these children will be the greatest in heaven was for one reason, without a child like depending faith in need of His unfailing Love, you will never fall and will be productive servants in His name no matter what the world says, and as for you white washed tombs not fooling anyone but yourself. People need the Love of Christ, not more burdensome religion, THUS SAYS THE LORD ALMIGHTY.

Singles ladies and single men
There is so many single ladies and single men on this site why we singles came here to find someone, so tell me why is it still so difficult to find someone and yet we surrounded by so many single people?
Do you untie knots?
A little boy, having missed his bus because of the tangled shoe strings, looked at the nearby man with tear-filled eyes and asked "Do You Untie Knots?"
"Yes" Said the man.

Life gets tangled.
People mess up.
We never outgrow the urge to look up and say "Help?"
No matter how little or big the knot,
God is always saying, "Yes", to our request.
And He is able to do more than we can imagine when we leave the knots in His hands.

This is a freewrite broken by actual events.
Trying to write when my children are awake is near impossible, but it's nice, in a sadistic sort of way.
i'm going to work on this for a while i think i like it.
"Get out of the bathroom and let your brother take a bath!"
"Don't hit your sister with that! What is that anyway?"
"i don't know. i found it in my closet."
"well, ....don't hit your sister with it."
I was 39 years old, yesterday.
I have spent the last 20-something years rotating between excuses in order to avoid writing. There are many natural distractions, but the fact is, i'm not very good at it and i realized long ago
that i'm never going to make a living doing what i love.
Waves of bookish women, moist and flexible are not going to build a commune in the yard,
chanting my favorite passages from old stories while flogging each other with glow-in-the-dark french ticklers. Wearing only panties.
Sigh.
"What are you doing?"
"What's that smile for?"
Where is your brother?"
I reread some of my old stuff every few years and some of them i throw away
(i'm never going to finish them, or i don't want it in the house anymore, or, more often than not, they aren't very good.)
i have no idea how to use proper puctuation.
Not sure if i spelled puntuation correctly.
Never use the word puntuation when i can use "grammer" instead.
keep it simple.
"Hey!" "What are you doing!"
"STOP!"
"Well, he started it-by-putting glue-in my-pants."
(i'm sitting at my desk in the kitchen, observing the chaos with my hands laced together on the top of my head with both thumbs turned skyward and an expression on my face that can only be described as incredulous disbelievement, sprinkled with joy.)
"What?!"
"Guys! Come in here a moment, please."
"Did that, ...come out of your body?"
"no."
"Did That, come out of your body?
"dad, you know it didn't."
"Then why is it in the toilet?
"i don't know."
"can we go now?"

Big cities
I have a blog I regularly write in on another site but writing one or two extra pieces here can't hurt. I am looking at a map of the United States on the wall next to me and daydreaming about places I would love to live for a year. I just came back from Phoenix, which was fun, but too far away from the water. I drove through Denver and Chicago on my way home and would love to spend a year in either of those places. I would also like to check out St. Louis, Boston, Seattle, Baltimore, and maybe even Atlanta. Odd how I would give a vital organ to live in any of these cities and yet have no desire to live in places like L.A. or New York or Philadelphia. I love the big city with it's five lane freeways and restaraunts on every street corner. In Phoenix I loved to drive on the freeway at night and look at the city lights twinkling out into oblivion. It was wonderful. I have such a wonderlust in me that I simply have to travel and see new places, live new places. I like the country but I don't think I could ever live in the country for very long.
Does any lady out there want a real bonafide date?

She's out there, somewhere
I know theres someone out there for all of us and i know i have to be patient when finding love, but its surprising how frusrating finding love can be. Not only that but sometimes someone finds you at the most inappropriate times in your life.
Im sure there is an easier way of doing all this, a way of showing people what you're truely like instead of them going on looks alone and use you for one thing. Wow i never though id say that :P Im also positive there is someone out there for me who knows the same feeling, infact im sure everyone does. I just find it so much more rewarding to get to know each other first and become friends. Then even if things dont go well you still have someone who undestands you and you know you arent alone.
There has to be someone out there so i'll just keep on looking. until then i'll just continue to be isolated from the wonderful feeling of love
