Instead, just do the things that u are supposed to do in this world to make it a better world, and certainly waiting to see the end of the world is is not one of those things.
When people die. That's the end of this world. Life will go on. But not for the dead person.

As for unfulfilled prophecies, definitely they are out there. :) But as an example, I can wait for the end of the world to come to pass!
