Thank you. My one and only wish is to have peace of mind.
My daughter said to me not long ago that she will be sad when I die but at least she will know that I am at peace. I think it is a lovely thing to say because my daughter in no way is sentimental. She and I were discussing it about two weeks ago that she finds it hard to hug me. I don't know why she is like that. She's a good person, just doesn't show emotion when it comes to me. But I still love her unconditionally.

We'll all have plenty - well, infinite - peace of mind when we're dead, Snuggs. I tend to think it's overrated...a lot of people believe they want it, but I have a feeling it's often a case of being careful what you wish for. Like security. Everyone believes they want that, too. But life with complete security would be like a novel where the protagonist has no obstacles to overcome and no goals to realize: booorrrinnng.
I say embrace life's problems and pratfalls along with life's pleasures. Instead of peace, have some fun. Stir up a little excitement. Hug someone. Spike someone's tea. Go for a run - naked. Read a dirty book. Read Greek philosophy and offer cheap beer sacrifices to Dionysus. Smile on your brothers and sisters and love on another right now...?
