This may or may not help my cause with somebodyrolling on the floor laughing

Seriously though, can we go over the success stories again? As well as the virtual endeavors that were a dud?

No success. Only one averted disaster. The rest: can you hear a lead balloon dropping when it is out in the forest and no single person is there to hear it?sigh

Met a girl I really liked, made plans, life happened.

My disaster is personal, has nothing to do with CS or the girl.

Ive been quite lucky on here, compared to alot of others, it seems. I never really had alot of scammers bothering me, or if I did I never made a big deal out of it, and never really noticed them. Block and delete..

I had one bad experience, but given the amount of members here I think that was bound to happen.

My story has turned out very well; I met my guy here, and we are very happy. All was as it seemed, no surprises, no lies, so I have nothing but good to say about sites like CS.

Listen - anywhere more than walking distance can be a problem.............. but think of the advantages!

In an LDR every time you meet it's like a freaking honeymoon - you can't get enough of each other and by the time you fly home you can barely walk up the stairs into the aeroplane and are seriously contemplating booking a wheelchair next time (if there is a next time).

I had a brilliant LDR for just over a year......... my guess is we flew out to see each other at least 20 times in that year and it was really wonderful.

The reason the LDR died wasn't because of 'geographical distance'.
