I've also noticed that virtually all of the programs are soon to be bankrupt. All the more reason not to entrust the government to matters of business.

True, governments never change things, only when the state of affairs is so bad will that happen.

WhatUwish4: I think alot of people go into office with the best of intentions, and some even remain true to their convictions...but the "machine" has grown so large I think they soon find their hands tied. The good news is that this administration truly has woken the sleeping giant. I've never seen so many American's paying attention as there are now. Hopefully, their anger and interest will spark something positive down the road.

To topple Obama would be a good thing. Nice idealism. wine

But before that change happens, the Blamegame starts, and the Citizens get screwed over once again

As it happened after every failed 5-Year plan in the USSR!
Citizens were told they hadn't worked hard enough (For the Party-Parasites) thus sabotaged the wellbeing of the Stae, mind you,the State, not the People,THE STATE!
Yet we still have some *********** who wold like to resurrect a System like that, claiming,if they just were given the power, they could make it work!
How many more of our Best are we going to feed to those Swine?frustrated

I don't believe my business will be nationalized. And I don't have a problem paying taxes to pave the roads..... I sure don't want to have to build my own road to town or pay some greedy landowner an outrageous toll to cross his land...... just because he can charge whatever he wants. (once again an irrational comment)

and in the process prolonged the Great Depression for five years, only came out of it beginning WWII!You long on Criticism, yet very short on any underpinnings to your argument!
Feds perpetrated samething as they did this time!
Kept Interestrates artificially low,The cheap money spilled over into the Stockmarket, then the Bubble burst,Feds hiked the Interestrate, slammed the Brakes on a runaway-Train!

They had put a Penny in the Fusebox,as one Economist put it!

It is generally accepted that the depression was prolonged because the gov't at the time did not backed-off economic stimulus. And the Feds never did hike the interest rate.... in fact it could be argued that they kept the rate too low for too long and that fueled the runaway train.

LucieLynn: Many people in the United States are born poor. They use their imagination and their brains and work very hard to find ways to get the money to make their own opportunities. It is the American way to work hard and have creativity and imagination. Walt Disney was born in a tiny house in a little farm town in Missouri - close to here. His family had very little money - almost nothing....Look what he did. He created an empire - Disney World. That would never had happened with communism. Take responsibility and you will be successful too.

You give a wonderfull example about mister walt disney, i am very much touched, i hope you will more touched by all the people who havent made it in this society and are locked up or put in projects as no good.
As the judges plaits to its jurey it saids, it has to be fair,
Would you consider that you have any heart left in you ?
