deadbutwhy: I have no perfect solution.

Realistically, I'd like a more direct democracy in the US, i.e. more power to people through local councils and governments. I am against business corrupting the democratic process with bribes to politicians and parties. I like anti-trust laws. I'd like outsourcing being heavily taxed or penalized. A humane yet not so wide-open immigration policy. Building up manufacturing, and winding down the financial/war economy. A Canadian-style healthcare system, so that companies don't need to provide it themselves and better country-wide education. An improved version of the 60's -- a modern "Great Society".
The Sixties?

StressFree: Radical change I'm for a hybrid system since neither Communism or Capitalism has worked out like it's supposed to according to what is implied on paper. The power and profit driven Corporatists/Plutocrats simply have too much power, and that has not been a good thing at all for the common people.

A great start would be having more political parties in Congress. For such a diverse and big nation, having only Republicans and Democrats dominate congress just does not make sense. We need a third party to arise and take some power away from the two-headed snake that is the Republicans and Democrats who have their corporate and special interest/lobby group alliances. They have destroyed the middle class and rendered our Republic weak and in no way for the people. This has to end, period.

"According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign affiliates of U.S. parent companies skyrocketed 30 percent to 10.1 million. During that same time period, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations declined 8 percent to 21.1 million.

Are you starting to see the picture?

Global corporations based in the U.S. have been creating lots of jobs - just not in the United States.

In fact, things only seem to be accelerating.

In 2008 alone, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations fell by 445,500.

In the old days, you could give tax breaks to U.S. firms and that would spur them to do more business and to hire more workers. But today, if U.S. multinationals decide they wish to expand they will just go hire more third world workers and pocket the rest of the profits for themselves.

The reality is that we are facing a very disturbing long-term trend in the United States." -

How come you think, communisme/socialisme didnt work out ?
Because they didnt want war with the kapitalist and joined them ?

If Fidel wasnt that passioned about his ambitions, he wouldnt of want to share his thought, ambitions, pride and care with his people every day over and over again.
What did he get out of it ?
You where right about Che, they should of joined the, kapitalistic economy, as china did and then trow you over.
But it wasnt the time yet.
He was a bit to passioned, but i cant blame him, someone with a heart, who cant stand injustice for all and i mean all over the world.

Khmer Rouge tribunal indicts 4 senior leaders

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia – Cambodia's U.N.-backed genocide tribunal on Thursday formally indicted the four top surviving leaders of the Khmer Rouge regime blamed for 1.7 million deaths in the 1970s, paving the way for the panel's long-awaited second trial next year.

The frail, elderly defendants, who have been in detention since 2007, deny any guilt for their roles in the radical communist rule during which about a quarter of Cambodia's population was either executed or died due to starvation or overwork.

The trial, due to start by mid-2011, will bring to the stand Nuon Chea, 84, the group's ideologist; former head of state Khieu Samphan, 79; former Foreign Minister Ieng Sary, and his wife Ieng Thirith, ex-minister for social affairs, both in their 80s.

Each faces four charges: crimes against humanity, genocide, war crimes and a combined charge of murder, torture and religious persecution, co-investigating Judge You Bunleng told a news conference. They will be tried together.
