No, I didn't ask anyone.. I do not believe in only treating someone special for just one day. My valentine would be treated the same every day.

nope..i got plenty of invitations but i decided to stay in, watched a good movie and made turkey for dinner.. the next day i went shopping and got many nice discounts on things i wanted, including some free gifts..had a great valentines day without any "drama" lolol..If yes, how'd it work out?

IMHO, I think you should try to walk in the shoes of your new person.
She is fighting someone else for attention.
I would run from you if I was her. I want a guy who can love me and not compete with someone else. So if you care for this person, before it is too late, try to think of her more. I would not be her for anything, it would be too hard loving you and you still won't let go completely.

Now I am a bit confused.
I am trying (I thought with success) to keep things separately.
I never make comparisons between the two people in my life. The last thing that I want is to hurt anyone, especially someone who gives me everything without asking for anything back. My woman and me are very good together and I just hope that she doesn't read your post and take your advice to run away from me.
I will take your advice (Do as Da Dobe Does?) and work on things but letting go completely is very difficult...very.
