Hmm WF, well said I use Eclipse and they are pretty much similar priced to AOL but then again there are good deals out there just when it comes to Broadband if you search just ask around get some ideas of wot's out there and do your research, I'm just not convinced on these total combine packages Broad-Phone & TV they are hit and miss I have had a couple of my friends who have had their fingers bitten by them and I think you really need to monitor those sort of deals!! in case they whack on surprise charges and bills you weren't expecting...!!! !

Yea it's certainly all going down in Tottenham at the moment alright geez grime and shocking!!!!

Hi Crystal, the police cars have been whizzing past all night. It's been so noisy! I live very near Tottenham and fairly near Enfield so its non-stop. It's disgusting how people are trying to blame the destruction on anger of the youth in Tottenham. First of all it is not only the Afro-Caribbeans that were commiting arson, destruction and looting but also white people. Secondly why show anger about "the unfairness of Police stop-and-search for knives and weapons by setting fire to shops, homes and looting.

Basically it is the youth of today that is out of control. I live near the area of the riots. It is only the tiny majority of gangs of all ethnicities that have a gripe with the police.

The riots had nothing to do with the guy being shot last week but everything to do with the fact that the small minority of the youth of today are 'lost.' Bad parenting with no boundaries, giving in too much to 'pester-power', etc. Yes there is poverty in London as in a lot of cities but that is no reason to go off the rails.

What gets me is people on other forums saying it is immigration and multiculturism causing this which is a load of tosh. It has nothing to do with that at all. It is basically the youth (of all ethnicities) out of control.

Bring in compulsory apprenticeship schemes for the unemployed youth or compulsory community service schemes. Give them mentors and a purpose for life. It will teach them respect. Educate the parents in how to deal with a kid who is going off the rails etc. Lol, I am in a know-it-all mode today!!!

Hi Sail...I think I am becoming more conversative in my way of thinking as I get older....and some of the things you mention above have made me so...by nature I am tolerant and accepting of all religions but there comes a time when you realise that other cultures/religions are not so accepting of mine...even in MY own country....this really pisses me off....I feel we as a country are being taken for a ride.....and I hope a change is a coming...I am sick of paying my taxes for all and sundry to walk into this country and put their hand out...and receive... and offer nothing in return....there is no work here and the idea of my children being given a council house or a decent job is just a joke even though we have all lived here and paid our taxes all of our lives..... its just not on....jeez I wonder if I should become a member of the tory party....

Well said Crystal and Sail. I am sure we will get one or two come on a say that we are over-reacting but these people don't live in the real world, ie in the cities. Out in some quaint village or valley or hilltop they are sheltered from the troubles that us in the cities know about.

well you know Wow, i wasnt sure about whether to post that or not cos although i live just outside Glasgow, we dont have anything like the problems you experience down south....however, they are my thoughts on the matter and for the good of all the British people, I think we as a country have to get tougher.

Absolutely. I am fed-up of all this political correctness. Either people behave and play by the rules, don't take advantage of they system or they can leave. This country is being taken for a ride.

One has to experience living in a country that is non Christian! although some of these particular religions claim to be the best Christians and yet their book of worship states clearly to kill the Christians!! oh yes in Black and White for all to see. When I get back home will post the particular chapter in which this can be found.
Regarding the chance of your kids or anyones kids being able to rent council or private not a hope, all taken by the Asylum seekers or others of other faith. Paid for by you and all taxpayers. Nice.

Yes your country is being taken over and soon you will be the minority then what will be the scenario? that is the worry for countries that take mega influx of immigrants, asylum seekers and so on.
I am happy here in Germany and so very few of the hangers on here. I do not miss the gangs that gather, the folks that spend their days looking down on us white Christians. Thinking themselves above us, with their women covered like draculas and an entaurage of kids behind them and themselves in long dresses wearing Jesus boots with dirty feet, and tea cosies on their heads. High time to say who is who and what is what!!

Hi Wow, no need for us to be correct politically or otherwise. We have freedom of speech and damn right too.
The country is gone down the tubes, taken for a ride and will continue to be so. Just keep handing out to them, they arrive and get cash immediately. You go to claim anything that you should be entitled to and see how long it takes for you to get it. If you get it being the operative word.
Reading what C. has to say I can completely understand as from my time in Brum well yes totally taken over.
I have a solution but it would not be allowed hmmmmmm!!
