Turns out my sons awards evening is only certificates this year, the formal event with caps and robes is next year...

gives you longer time to prepare for it Brum - We don't have the gowns etc here at the local state school instead my daughter gets to play dress up - shopping for shoes, gown, getting the makeup done etc., oh the joys of having a daughter attending her final year of high school formal...
boys are so much easier!!...
No today I want my tension muscular headache gone, my backpain gone so I can do what I have to do as I am going to my girlfriend's next week and staying with her while she recouperates from her hospital stay... hard to believe I met her when I was 20 we did our Enrolled nursing course together.... how time flies...

I got my dog in for his op, because when I called to cancel, they gave me numbers of cabs that take pets and a "pet ambulance/taxi" at an extra charge.. Just have to wait to hear from the vet now.....

My dog is home and doing well, but has to go back in next month, to have his stitches removed. Hopefully he doesn't get an infection between now and then
