Wow_Factor: I would hate to be late or rush. For a flight I would get to the airport at least a couple of hours before check-in opens, as I would hate to be rushed. A lot of people think I take it to the extreme but being in a hurry churns my stomach up, so to settle it I take it easy!
I was like that yesterday uh oh I had to take my cockatiel to the vets. As usual I left it till last minute, then couldnt catch her to get her into the travel bag. When I finally did I had to run up my long street only to see bus flying past before I got to bus stop. So, had to wait ten minutes for next one. Got off at the bus station then had to run up another road to the vets laugh Whew, I did manage to get there two minutes early, only to have to wait 20 minutes before bird was seen to rolling on the floor laughing

Yes, but look on the bright side, (or dark side laugh ) at least you got there early even with the delays, so you must be improving. Poor cockatiel must have been traumatised with evading the travel bag and being shaken whilst you were running, then the wait for the vet in the bag and the trauma of the vet handling her or him. But at least you were on time laugh

Hope he or she is ok.

Oh yes, she's fine thanks and no, luckily she wasn't affected by all the dashing about.

I take her every six weeks to have an hormone injection as she suffers from chronic egg laying without injections. Which runs her down healthwise and there's a risk she could die from eggbinding. Quite expensive it is though, cost me £80 yesterday for a years supply of the human hormone, plus it will be £12 per injection every six weeks. Then I bought her a £90 carry bag 2 months ago. Heck, I spend more money on her than on myself laugh She's worth it though and everyone loves her new travel bag. I took a pic of her in the bag on the bus when I went six weeks ago. I'll have to put it on my profile for a laugh laugh

Wow, that's expensive. Shame she wasn't insured for vet bills before this problem happened. It will be good to see her pic.

Wow_Factor: Lol, no secret - I just aim for 15 or 30 minutes before the time, and that makes me early. If you aim for on-time you will be late.

Well that is a very good concept for me to work on thank WF, and ladies there.thumbs up

Really? That is terrible. Perhaps go on a price comparison site copying and pasting the make and model into google and searching for the cheapest. Although of course if you want connection to the pipes, and the old one recycled, you have to take that into account in the price. £140 is an incredible amount. You could almost buy a new machine for that.

Apparently they do change the prices .... Uptall had problems with that too a few weeks back when he was looking for a washer.
