brum_mumBirmingham, West Midlands, England UK7 Threads 2,659 PostsBuilder left today, took all his gear, all the tools and machinery ect. Left two doorframes and one window top with no tiles. Left a mess in the house, but that's ok. Also left a heap of c$%p outside my front window that he told me he was clearing! Oh, and still no electricity in my kitchen!

How extensive was the remodel? New cabinets, lighting throughout, undercabinet lighting, dish / disposal, microwave, fridge, etc.? Were new receptacle outlets roughed in above countertops for general small appliance use? If this was the case, were new circiuts run to a basement panel? Where is the panel / fusebox located?
Or was the remodel such that whatever was updated didn’t require new circuit runs and the contractor made the attempt to utilize existing circuitry by moving a few outlets here and there.
Depending on what took place and how extensive, I can coach you through finishing the electrical. With some basic mechanical aptitude on your side and if you were to provide some pictures of the what took place, you can become the apprentice. I’m a licensed, bonded, and insured electrical contractor and would be happy to help you out.

Thank you for the offer. I will leave it as it is. I do not want my landlord to blame me or charge me if something goes wrong if I were to fix it...
