It's a real nuisance to click on a Poll thread, find it uninteresting, and then not be able to go right back to All Threads.

Instead, once you've clicked on a Poll, even by accident, you are stuck in Poll Hell.

Either make the two all the same (All Threads) or better yet, make them totally separate (no Polls appear under All Threads).

Please, pretty please?

used to be like that at one time.
Then it all changed after a Forumupgrade, and was neve changed back!
While they are at it,why not place the EMOs at the bottom of the posting-Box!
I already wore out three Mice scrolling!laugh

In fact I was here to make the same point.... being that we are in a 'change' mode.

Also.... we ARE SCROLLING much too much and why are the reply and quote buttons at the top of a box instead of the bottom as they used to be? Scroll up again and as someone said... yes the EMOs should also be near the bottom... scroll up again... scroll scroll scroll. It is also harder to distinguish between a quote and a response now that you've also inclosed the response in a box

From what I see the changes have mostly been to improve the advertisers visibility, not the users needs. confused

You are likely right on the money there Gin...and so is CS, of course. It's only free to us. It's not free to them. Someone has to pay the bills.

The incovenience of Poll Threads not returning to Forums predates the recent changes, though, as you surely know. It may not be a big thing, but seems like it would be so simple and useful to change, without disturbing either members or advertisers.

Another thing, while the 'to the top' button is nice.. wouldn't it be easier to run a thin direction line along the bottom as well... you know forums, EU forums, polls, mailbox, flowers, blogs etc... then you wouldn't even need to go back to the top. dunno

Absolutely Dagosto caro.... but the forums, I'm assuming, get even more visibility for advertisers simply because lots of folks take a gander even if they don't participate... no forum posters.. or unhappy ones, nobody to see the advertising. wink wink wine

You should be able to open each thread or poll in a new tab or window and then close it. this is very simple.

Being able to click directly back to All Threads would be great. I don't think I'd advocate separating them any more than they are at present (you can click directly to All Polls), because I have the same interest in polls as in "threads" (they are a variation of a "thread," really), and would have to click back and forth in any case, so that wouldn't save me any hassle.

In Firefox a Right-click will help you just do that!
Rightclick on the Thread or Pagenumber of the Thread and you'll get a Menu giving you that Choice!
