Martia: Oh hi Kizzy how are you? I am just replying to Daggy Ones post to me that my advice is Utterly Useless and my posts are Crap! as I am sure you noticed.

I took offence to that as he took it opon himself to insinuate that it was the opinion of everyone on this forum.Yes I do come on strong when I think it is needed... that way I do not let things fester and simmer like some.

I just think it is such a shame that you did not point out the same thing to a friend of yours a little while back! if you had I think it might have helped. JMO anyway

I do so appreciate you checking all my posts now and in the past so please feel free to do so in the future.

As you have seen I am not too stubborn to apoligise if I think I have overstepped the mark.

Its the ones who have Never done that are the ones with the problem I believe.

Anyway I am sure Daggy One is big enough to stick up for himself ....in fact I am sure of it..I do understand you like to join in on things like this as you have many times before. Especially with me.
One thing about me is if I have something to say I say it without fear or favour straight up as everyone who has been on this forum for a while knows.

And believe it or not Kizzy I never bear a grudge.

Hi Martia , I see his response is to you for saying he is a "controlfreak" for giving his advise to a member who has asked for it .He hasnt belittled the op just said what he reckons !Look Martia Im just reading whats written and your responce just blew me away!It was like , hangon wtf did he do to deserve that??
Im quite sure I am not the only one who saw your responce as aggressive or out of context but you believe what you want to , you alwasy do .

venere08: Why do you feel people here are trying to control you, jimbob? We are all only making comment. It's what happens when you start a thread.

I don't think anyone gives a hoot what you end up doing. Well, I could be wrong. There might be peeps here who invest emtional energy on these forums. I sure don't. Remember, it is only a CS forum.

Thats right ! Hi Venwine

Oh my dear Kizzy aggresive and out of context ,I would love to bring a few of the past members back who would accuse you of the very same thing and so much worse.

One thing I am sure of is some members might say about me here she goes again..... but they know it has never been done with malice, I love this forum and we really have some terrific members on here now,I do not like it when I see any semblance of bullying or pushing on here, bad memories of a very different forum I suppose, never come across anything like it with adults, it resembled very mean schoolyard didnt it Kizzy.

As you know I will jump in to stop it! always have always will. Ok I go over board sometimes I'm sorry, but I am sure those members already have and will let me know if I upset them... with or without your lexpected little shove.

If you insist on leaping on my um ...more forceful comments with such great gusto go ahead but expect an honest searching reply, because dear Kizzy you will never belittle me...ok

And whats with the Lurking around in the background hoping to pounce as thats all you seem to do nowadays ??? let it go !! such a waste as all of your threads were really worth reading.

confused sigh doh

ps If you cant..... I will try from time to time to get your back up... just to cheer you up.teddybear

Perhaps controlling re Cs was perhaps the wrong word to use .for that I do offer an apology .
Perhaps the way I(and others) read many of the replies may have been wrong but then again, some do appear to be written in a rather standoffish and do as I say manner .
And that perhaps gives the reader the impression that the writer is giving a hoot !!!
While I have had my eyes open and will take it all in .In the end I will do what is correct for me .It may not be correct for venere or daggy or martia or whoever .But will be the go for me
head banger

So when the house is sold( sometime to wait yet) and I'm ready .I'll post a picture of my new small fuel efficent car applause

Back to what I said ages ago, if you want decent car, look at second hand Magnas. Very cheap due to crap resale value, reliable vehicle. New cars always lose values when you are handed the keys. Hyundais are much better now and a newish one is a good option in the lower price range.

Personally, my Discovery is cheap to run (diesel but expensive to service), the 1971 Series 2a (40th birthday this month) chews up the petrol over 80km/h but is very cheap to service by me while my Peugeot is very economical to run (and work pays the bills).

Check out RACV, NRMA websites for vehicle "whole of life" running costs.

Funny u should mention Hyundais .I was talking to a female work mate .She drives a Mazda 3 hatch .honestly told me its economy is awful on short runs its 5 mins from home to work in the car .it chews up the petrol but is great on long runs and it handles very well but.
She used to own a Hyundai that was far more economical on fuel .But she added her short driving was using the fuel up!!
Yes I have been told by people to check out servicing pricing . understand Toyota servicing is cheap while the quality of their cars has dropped .thats just what i've been told .
Magna is a wee bit big thanks washu2 .yes its a pity i need to downsize smaller will be better in the long run.

You are projecting your own emotional colour to what you read. I honestly do not give a hoot personally as to what you decide to do. It is only the situation I am commenting on for the sake of discussion. After all, I expect you do want comments...hopefully, all comments, not just ones that you want to hear.laugh

Good luck in what car you choosepeace

Be careful about getting a car that includes GPS - it adds too many $$$ - would be better to buy one separately - JMO.

Car buying is fun but just do your research and test driving - know what bits you want and which you don't want included - and go from there - and don't be talked into one by a car dealer - they suck and will lie or stretch the truth for a sale. Best to take a friend along who can give you objective advice along the way.

Good luck! (PS I love my Mazda 6, but should really own a more economical little one .....)
