I know I met someone at the Glasgow CS get-together - however I have had to return to USA since I work and live here. However if I wanted an American man - I could easily meet through the forums and then meet in person. But I also like connecting with people just for the comments, ideas, news, banter, amusements and other chat. - with the same ole people. Don't you like that too?

I figured it out from my girlfriends looking for love - they dated from the various websites - and there was always an excuse or barrier to the relationship. - so they broke up and then WAM! - they met someone else through the same websites, dated and the respective men moved heaven and earth to be together and happy with my friends. So I figured that if the dates with the man is ok but it moves along at a snails pace, then that man is not the right man - let him go - cause when a man knows he is in love and wants to be with that woman - he will.
Does it work that way for woman too?

I lived in Miami for 4 years, com si com sa place.
I would never move back there or any where else for that matter.
And this has nothing to do with love.
I'm just tied up with what I do and logic dictates that it's better to wait even if takes years.

yes some of the stuff seems like a repeat - however, one reason I enjoy returning and chatting in the forums is because there are rock solid people who comment, and keep the threads going - people that you are comfortable and enjoy their thoughts even if you heard them before. It is like returning to your hometown, or going to a party and seeing your friends returning too. If you are serious about finding a relationship this is just a stepping stone. right?
The real work begins after you connect through the forums or through a get together or through the mailbox or flowerbox -
I think you can tell a lot about a person from their posting in the forums - don't you?
