jac379: So how do you expect to get to that stage where you are holding hands, walking into the sunset with the one you love, if you don't want to talk to anyone?

Its a dating website, not a McDonald's drive through where you can place an order atone end and collect at the other.

Quality food takes a little time to prepare, my friend.

Food never become better then the produce you use, why stir in the pot with anything but the best.
Cooking are best done with a good mood and careful not to over cook.
If you cant light the fire quickly it will never heat up and you'll be left with only hunger.

JeanKimberley: yes some of the stuff seems like a repeat - however, one reason I enjoy returning and chatting in the forums is because there are rock solid people who comment, and keep the threads going - people that you are comfortable and enjoy their thoughts even if you heard them before. It is like returning to your hometown, or going to a party and seeing your friends returning too.

If you are serious about finding a relationship this is just a stepping stone. right?
The real work begins after you connect through the forums or through a get together or through the mailbox or flowerbox -

I think you can tell a lot about a person from their posting in the forums - don't you?

Not always, some keep up a fasad.

Kristia49: Yes you have to feel comfortable in big steps. Good luck, i come on here mainly for the forums.

Finding that one person who is right for you is a big quest but once you find the right one it is heaven as long as you don't set your standards too high

Single or coupled the forums are great

If you read their profile - it can be pretty clear - for example if they are not in your local area, or even country.... or if they are separated, or state that they are just here for the forums or games or such.... or they list their age group and it's not your age group--- etc, etc.

I didn't mean it like that.
I meant that it's perfectly natural to behave in your best way and try to disguise any imperfection you might believe you have.
It can take a date or a year to find out if there's a possability for a relationship to work. But even so they do brake often.
And why is that because you close your eyes and are some times more in love with love then the person.
When I visitied my last ex in a far away country I asked if we could stop and buy a Banana or something on the way home from airport and she got upset about it and wondered why I didn't eat in the plane. I'm a big guy, I eat alot. That was the first warning sign but I ignore it and now I have to live with it.
I probably haven't learned anything all will do the same mistakes again.

If you can't light the fire at all, you will remain hungry. If you can't light it quickly, you will just remain hungry for longer.

You are one of the ingredients. Ensure your own quality grows to fit the standard you wish to attain.

And finally, you answered your own troubles - get yourself in a better mood before you try to cook up a feast. wink

Here we go again, I'm in a good mood, laughing all the time.
Are you projecting your own emotions on me?

We all keep up a facade on the forums. Who wants to share everything about themselves to remain on the internet for the whole world to see forever and ever? Who the hell wants to listen? laugh

Just like we keep up facades at work, or with our neighbours.

Its only a few trusted people who we share more of ourselves with and that takes time and friendship.
