When I read about all these ideal/dream people I look at myself, know I'm nothing like that and just feel depressed. Online dating sites have never done anything for me. I think I'm destined for isolation and an early demise.

Yes, I do... but I know for sure that although I mean to go out the door and see if I can meet someone nice, somehow I dont.. which tells me that Ihave to make the effort, as no one is going to come knocking if I spend the days at home..
But its not that I purposely avoid going out... Its more to do with that I am so involved in my garden, my duties around the house, and also I like that I have lots of interests here at home , and its only at night when I think, Jeez, I wish I had not left it so late to come indoors from the garden, too late to go out now..
so at this rate... I guess I will be single for ever...
