I remember those old Holdens in my teens... and they did run on the smell of an oily rag... LOL
one light per room , you def are not alone, but I would have been worried if you said you use one candle per room..
No shopping for the sake of shopping... Heck, that's no fun..
Why do you think that supermarkets put all the goodies near the checkout... for impulsive shoppers....
So are you really a impulsive shopper who does not go to the shops in case you spend on goodies for your own well being???

Go shopping when I want to, not for something to do.
And put on old clothes when I want to work on the cars or in the garden. And then go down the road in them to buy milk because I didn't go shopping for the last week.
