The birth of Christ was in May. Even today, nobody brings sheep down from the mountains in the middle of winter, so December could not be right for His birth. Remember the three shepherds? They would not be traveling in winter.

Those Pagans gotta be shushed somehow it seems lol. And what would the commercial world do without all that extra dosh at xmas? My personal fav is gettting our kids to sit on strange men's knees for this one day and teaching them not to for the rest of the year...

I also find it strange that people teach their children to be wary of strangers and yet I have often seen terrified, crying children persuaded to sit on this person's knee and take sweets from him. Not only that, but he comes into your house while you are sleeping! Oh, for the days of innocence and blind trust!
Am I just too wary or do I have a point here??? I honestly do wonder what others think

Not GOD's birthday - surely God is eternal, without beginning and without a birthday. Maybe in your ignorance you were referring to the birth of Jesus. The actual birthday of Jesus is calculated to be sometime in March 6BC - some say 4BC. Not that FACTS are going to get in the way of your blind beliefs.
Here in Australia Christmas, like all other holidays, just means an excuse to indulge in our favorite occupation - obsession with alcohol, drugs and violence.
