sadly not many left now, though i have a few skyrockets hidden away for a rainy day...if indeed they end up working on a rainy day !!!....many years ago i let off a skyrocket and it went horizontal and plummeted into next doors neighbours flaxbush setting it on fire....that was a disaster...lol

Took my son-in-law out to lunch for his birthday today. Daughter came along as well. Went to a decent pub. 2 steaks and a shnitzel, 2 soft drinks and a bottle of wine.
Had to get up off the floor after the waitress said "That will be one thousand....." I didn't hear the rest. Think I said something to the kids like "Go and get the car running, turned around and leave the back door open for me while I sort this out. And cover the number plates. We might have to leave in a hurry"
Turned out to be a computer hitch where the wine was coming up at $999.00 instead of $42.
