AgentAjax: The worry is not confined to Australia it is international. Are we forgetting why billions of dollars are spent every year on security? Have you truly had a look at the countries where muslims live in large numbers like Spain and UK? I know you haven’t because if you had your opinion would be different.

the only but is AA you seem to be saying that ALL muslims needed to be feared/regarded in this way and from my experience that isnt so.

I work with some muslims, and they are men as well. They show everyone respect, they are courteous and friendly and I will add hard working. The only way you know they are muslim is because some observe Ramadan and when sharing meals etc with everyone will only eat vegetarian fare.

there are zealots and fanatics in every race, religion and creed. Not just one party is responsible

Indeed you are correct but experience and history tells us different. Ex) in UK you cannot any longer take photos of Downing st. nor the palace, in Australia and US white house or any other monumental building , these laws came in for a reason. People can appear to be nice on the outside but what goes inside their head and the groups they belong to is another matter. The more you let in the greater the chances of potential disaster. Who are the pyrites and the scammers? Yeah I know it’s only a small minority which neither Russia nor the US managed to contain even with the assault of the most deadliest weapons.

you have your very defined views AA, you are welcome to them.

Not everyone is involved in the "Big Conspiracy" Not everyone lives and breathes a life of hate and fear.

some people, of all races and creeds live simple lives, live in their community and support their community with no fear or favour.

fear always begets fear, hate always engenders more hate.

It does seem to me that you, AA has become a Fundamentlist AU.

Australia has been recognised where we are many people of differnt ethic origins could live in harmony without these conflicts from other countries impinging on us.

Okay, there are some of us that want to keep it going. The USA tried to make this better 200 years ago. Okay, they still have problems.

There are many ethnic groups that want to believe in the "Old Country."

Embrace the New World and accept the New Order. Not everyone has hate in their bones. Accept that there are people who have different belifs than us.

Who are we to judge who is right or wrong?

Call me what you want but while you are doing it remember the people in Syria been killed by chemical weapons, not the first time either middle east is well known for it. I’ll say it again if these people can do this to each other what are they capable of doing to the people who they don’t like.

They run from trouble to cause trouble all over the world and Im a fundamentalist … yeah whatever laugh

I saw earlier that you managed a stay at Villawood.

You have physically moved from all those hates by coming to a new country.

Why keep those old hates going?

Hi kristia wave

Yeah we in the retail trade knew it would only be a matter of time before it was a given, what with 7 day trading being in force for years now, that whatever days you work would make no difference money-wise.

Almost there thumbs down

No one will stop the boats , who is anyone kidding...things are bad in the world - borders are closing for some reason.. people want a better life and to go to thesre extremes... Think about it instead of getting caught up in trivial justifying rhetoric

Since the closing of the land bridges, we have had "boat people" for the last 40,000 years.

Tassie was a bit lucky as the boat trip meant not many made the journey until 235 years ago.

Most who have done 'the trip' have done it to seek a better life. Some just to escape what they have been through, and have been hopeful for a better life.

Sadly, I have met a few who want to carry on the grudges to the "new country." Many are those whose parents left the "Old Country" for the better life and were brought up here in Australia to the new values, and want those predjices to continue.
