No ships or boats would ever make it to shore down in featherd the hook,, they would be washed up against the rocks,,it's so wild and rough down at the hook in featherd Wexford,

Pirates and many many have dround down that way.

Up the road is one of the most famous haunted places known as Loftus hall.

Open to the public now.devil .

A picture was snapped in the hall last week and was in the local newse paper as one can clearly see a faint picture of a ghost a spirit,.

Harry I tell you the hall is on a very barren flat land it's near the hook lite house ,the devil was reported to have played cards in the hall one night , and when Anne loftus the daughter of mr loftus saw hooves on his feet he shot up through the roof,Anne went mad and stayed in her room.till she died .

The real story suggests Anne had a liason with the handsume stranger that knocked on their door one night during the winter,it gets very wild down thete during the winter and the some ships made it to shore and he was passing through this man that they think got Anne pregnant ,so as it was a scandal in those days ,Anne was kept in her room, and the family made up the story about the devil....nobody knows ,blues .

Cromwell captured the hall when he and his men came to Wexford and lots people slaughtered down thete, then the loftus family bought it from one of cromwells soldiers that was originally owned by Redmond,.

It is a very remarkable house and the Italian original staircase still exists, google loftus hall featherd on sea Wexford.

In response to: what are the Irish known for world-wide?

My father's biological parents were of Scott and Irish decent.

His adopted parents were of Native American decent.

The Irish I would associate with St.Patty's Day.
