Well shame on you lot.
I leave youse all alone for a few hours and now look at the state of my thread....
So typical....all over the place....
In all honesty, that's why I keep coming back...you're all nutty like me....
Hey, listen....everyone....we're(NZ) way ahead of you guys in terms of hours....May you all have a wonderful New Years Eve. I've really enjoyed meeting you all online. You're a good lot to be around.
I'm just having a quiet night tonight....a couple of drinks with a neighbour. I would've loved to have been swooped up by a dashing man on a white horse(a car would've been suffice, I guess) and out for a romantic dinner followed by dancing the New Year in......but, hey...we gotta be grateful for what we have.....and I am.
Happy New Year.... <<<<<<<< sorry....had to throw my dancin Santa in. He's my favie....

Happy New Year Berry
As usual, we all got a little carried away as you can see and I just knew you'd enjoy the antics.
So, no young stud in shining armor and white horse with carriage to take you away to the grand ball but hey, join the club cuz we're all still here eh? You've got about 5-1/2 hours left till the new year if I'm not mistaken so enjoy yourself.
Hope you all have a lovely new year coming and in about 5 hours Kiwi time summer time will be the new year ,
i cant offer much in the way of a dashing young man or some of the thoughts you had so the best i can offer is a night of Ball room dancing in 3 weeks time at our Renaissance camp 17 to 25 of Jan . at the Waipara Boys Brigade Camp Site north Canterbury NZ, The SCA,
its our reinactment of 1400 to 1700 and ill be playing music with our musicions for the Ball baroque music and a good supper is provided and youll have to be dressed accodingly
BerrySmoothie: I've never dated or been involved with men younger than myself.
It has never been a preference of mine.
...but I wanted to experience time with a man much younger than myself.
It didn't work for me. He was very friendly but worlds apart in terms of how we each see the world. I've had children. He hasn't. He seemed quite self-centred and talked endlessly about himself. He was quite the gentleman, very polite but I think for him it was about being with an "older woman".
My question is: is there a line for you?....how young/older would you realistically venture in finding a suitable partner.
This isn't about judging others who have found happiness with sizable age differences. Just want to know people's thoughts on this.
I thought I was quite "hip"...."young at heart"....but my perspective of the world is much different to a man who is considerably younger than myself.
Your thoughts/experiences.....
Hi
Here you see what happened, you dated him because you liked him.Things began to change when you saw that things are not same as you have imagined.you still do not have any bad intention from his side.Actually its understanding which matter. He did not cop-up with at this point. If he would have not talked or thought just about himself only then it may possible that things would have different. So,personally i feel that its not only intention but understanding also important which decide the fate of relationship.
I have nearly always dated younger men, it just worked out that way I attract them, they attract me. I've never went more than 10 years younger though. But at the end of the day, it is their maturity, and our commonalities that matter.

Hi ah Molly, n Happy New Year to you...
I must admit.. I can ditto everything you have said above...
I have never gone out with someone older than myself...
I personally would enjoy a woman close to my age . I couldn't imagine dating someone younger than my 33 year old Daughter . Some our nice to look at , but I enjoy a much more mature woman .
