pedro27: can the changing of the season's affect your mood?..?
Yes. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons — SAD begins and ends at about the same times every year. If you're like most people with SAD, your symptoms start in the fall and continue into the winter months, sapping your energy and making you feel moody. Less often, SAD causes depression in the spring or early summer.
Treatment for SAD may include light therapy (phototherapy), psychotherapy and medications.

serene56: Absolutely.I find my depression kicks in when days turn cold and shorten.I hate winter, even though it's milder here than in the Northern Hemisphere, obviously.
I am a child of the sun and could not survive in cold, snowy climes
Yep. I always take Vitamin D during the winter and try to take a sun holiday. Am a sun worshipper

I loath and detest winter, but become alive when the sun is shining, it also affect my libedo I genuinely wish I could hibernate from Nov to March, especially here in China, where the winters are so humid the cold seems to penetrate your bones.
Track,, In some place where winter is sunny, it's not that hard to go through,, some are even waiting for winter to amuse and do things which can't be done in summer days, but in some places where it's humid and less sunny, it's depressing, a deficit of sunlight saps mood and energy !!! cheer it up, !!! there should be something good out of it,,
