what part don't you get that he doesn't want to bring any more attention to this. he knows that the press is going to have their way with the story and that just plays right into exactly what the terrorists want. and that is as much attention they can get out of these horrific acts.

other than #8 on your list, it's simply your opinion. and of course you are simplifying the complexity of the topics. #8 or the national debt would have been comparative to where it is today regardless of which party controlled the white house. the gop have had congress for some time and that's where the real power is.
