I remember when I went to Canada, I had been there for a couple of weeks before we drove to Cape Cod.
I kid you not, the noise level rose the moment we crossed the border. I thought I imagined it until one of my travelling companions asked if people were suddenly talking louder

yes, most people here tell me that I sound loud. sometimes they think I am yelling at them when I don't mean to. now I am learning to whisper when I talk.

you haven't heard anything yet. the United Nations projects populations for many countries.Just considering the USA, out of all the Americas, the UN sees it growing 32% by 2050, making the U.S. population at 402 million then.
That population growth probably won't bother me if I'm alive at 98 then .
