Most likely because YOU have an expanded, exaggerated and impossible set of criteria in respect of what you suppose makes a woman a 'good woman' and that's in conflict with the similar set of criteria held by many women as to what makes a man a 'good man'.
Add to that there's " unlimited choice " and women (especially) have a tendency to always think there's someone better just rounbd the corner.
Think of it like a restaurant menu ... on all those TV 'rescue shows' one of, if not THE very first thing that the SuperChef does is to cut back on the number of dishes. Makes iy easy for the kitchen staff AND it also makes it easier for the customer TO CHOOSE.
The date site industry makes torrents of money by turning unaware highly cheerful optimists into deeply cynical pessimists !
