And I did grin

He's a bloody handful but I love him to bits and he, me.

He's one of those guys that needs to be involved with absolutely everything, very intelligent and quick to learn, and I'm sure that when he outgrows his sometimes exhausting puppy behaviour he'll be a devoted companion for many years to come dancing dog

When I was child my parents resources were limited but we had always food, a modest home and lots of friends.

About the food:

For breakfast we would have coffee ( very light) and some milk, or cinnamon tea with some milk and 2 pieces of sweet bread (small ones), so our Mother would place 2 by 2 the bread and there was always a fight among us the children to which one to choose, so when I was in charge of getting the bread (stil steaming from the bakery) i would bring them all the same and then not fight but just long faces from my brothers laugh

Any story of yours ?

Or anyone?

My parents had a restaurant for a short time and it was good regarding to the food and the money we got to spend as children but my father decided that it was not good for family life and he sold it.

I remember that before the restaurant I would have enough to buy a soda or a small snack and with the restaurant that went like 5X per day. Not good on the long run.

No.. Not good for family life, in fact, it was very rare to spend time with my parent like a "normal" family would & I envied my friends who had theirs, especially during the evening but as I grew older, I appriciated the sacrifices they made.. Saying that, I think your father made a wise decision in spending quality time with his family. No money in the world could buy the memories of child rearing.bouquet
