If you go in with a preconceived notion that nobody is to be trusted, then you are screwed from the beginning. That is a terrible way to look for a future partner, and a near guarantee of failure.
Clearly, you have to have your wits about you and not fall for the oldest tricks in the book, but that goes for real life also.

Morning Lub,,,, well i would always keep an open mind ,
and would be trusting until proven wrong,,,,,, like i said on another thread,
my standards about trust and honesty, are very high,, so i would expect the same in return.
People on dating sites, that think that they know someone that they never met,
just going by long term conversations and banter on here, are just kidding themselves.

Growing up as a small child I though that all people were trustworthy I used to give people the benefit of the doubt then as I got older learned the hard way that not all people are honorable in their words or actions. don't know if anyone has ever heard of the saying that "My word is my bond".
Since that time I chose to never give anyone unless they are trustworthy especially when I meet them in real time.

It's not nice to be let down, especially when there is no need for
not being truthful/honest, with someone.
