The day that island was pushed up from below the sea erosion started and will continue till its gone . All land masses are being eroded by the sea and it has nothing to do with global warming . Recent quake pushed up miles of coast line by 5 meters in places closing fishing boat harbours , nobody should claim there is sea level fall and an ice age is coming . What I find so amazing is that Climate change deniers say that the climate has been going up and down for millions of years, it's the natural rhythm.of the planet. There have been many well documented Ice Ages in the geological past.
For them to say that the climate isn't changing is to say that the climate has suddenly stopped changing and the global mean temperature of the earth will remain the same for the next billion years.
They can't have it both ways.

But to say the climate does not change is, is, is, well....let me go with "possibly, incorrect!" PS -Plate Tectonics and climate change are somewhat inter-linked (especially on a regional basis), but are akin to apples and oranges.
