Saturday evening I popped into the restroom to readjust a garter belt. I hiked up my skirt, was wrestling with the stay, and looked up. There was a man standing at the other end of the restroom against the wall. He was a security guard for the facility and I must've looked like a deer in the headlights, as he said not to worry, he's seen just about everything. Ohhh, that was reassuring!
What do you all think about this issue?

I've been thinking about the incident for a couple of days now and am considering contacting management.It has taken me a bit to understand what it truly was that bothered me.
Management obviously placed the man in the restroom for security reasons.
1) He should've been in plain sight from the beginning, not standing behind a door.
2) He should not have been blatantly staring at me. He should've been a gentleman and at least pretended to avert his gaze.
For these reasons, the incident felt creepy and there is surely a better way for people using public restrooms to feel comfortable.
On a sidenote...when I entered the restroom, I did a quick and saw all the cubicles were empty, so assumed I was the only one in the restroom.

Interesting development...I have spoken with the management of the venue where I was Saturday evening.
They had no security guards posted inside the public restrooms.
