If they are technologically more advanced than us - then I would definitely go.
If they are like 'Star Trek' universe - I'd go immediately! If they are the same like us or like we were in the past - then no.

That is so true.
I haven't read Arthur C. Clark for many many years. I used to read so much science fiction when I was younger, then switched to films and series and since I watched everything worth watching (and a lot not worth watching
) I might go back to the novels. Thanks for the recommendation.

Definitely, i go. I am to curious and been always an adventurer, i love discovering and learning, i was and i am never afraid from anything. Compared with a new relationship, you see who is in front of you, you dont know where you end, but it will never hold me back to go for it. I see it always as a win/win situation, if it dousnt work, you learned something, if it works well be gratefull, and that would hold me back to step in that Portal.
