Track16: Dark clouds hanging over Newfoundland in recent years. When Muskrat falls hydroelectric power starts flowing, the power bill for the average consumer is going to triple. There are going to be people who will end up getting their power cut off because there is just no way they can absorb a hike that high.
Seems its happening all over Canada Track..these are the stories they don't want people to know about until someone gets fed up and goes to the newspapers!People are homeless for all kinds of reasons, most due to not their own fault.
Yet there are new homes going up everywhere, entire blocks of empty houses!

Capitalism cannot work, we are seeing the casualties already. Capitalism will demand that companies cut costs, increase profits, and sink the competition. Eventually no one is going to have any jobs or any money to pay for an exorbitantly expensive society that only the top 1% can afford to live in. Either everyone will just die off or there will have to be a revolt and society as we know it will have to be broken and rebuilt with different guiding principals.

I won't give up. I'll be back in a "dating game" at 55. Then I could meet a nice 65-year-old man and be happy.
I think it's much better that way, than unrealistically hope to meet someone for something serious and constantly get disappointed.
When you give up, you get your freedom back and then - you often meet a lot of interesting new people.
I met the best men when I wasn't looking.
But, you can't stay on a dating site and "not looking". It's deluding yourself.
And then - so much disappointment and stories about love and past (yours and other people's) start to make you feel depressed. Yesterday I was reading some threads and it came to me that all we do is talk about past and we drown ourselves in it. I mentioned so many things on this forum about my past, I don't even want to remember and never talk about in RL.
I think it's counterproductive.
