kidatheart: I think I just witnessed someone jump off a bridge.
Coming home from a bit of grocery shopping, and crossing the bridge, a young guy had his leg over the handrail and looked like he was going over. I lost sight of him because of the way the bridge is constructed. When I got to the end, I saw two people running towards where he was, but I didn't see him anymore. I parked my car and went to see, and a cop had showed up, who I could see, and the two people, but not him.
It's a long drop into the Columbia off there, spring time so the water is cold and moving fast. I sure hope he didn't jump, very little chance of survival.
