Sometimes we put everyone in the same bag, and we end offending people in general, without choosing the right words (I do it often). Not all Trump supporters are extremist, idiotic, with no values. in fact, the majority are decent hardworking people, and they just want a better life.
To look at the major reasons why Trump was elected (besides foreign interference - there will be some surprises), we have to understand the America political system. The idea of a "savior" in the society, and how "corrupt" the system is, andow far from reality both parties are. The democrats are corrupt as much as the republicans. Hillary is corrupt, in every aspect, and she was probably the main reason why people voted for Trump.
Regarding morons, and extremist using republicans t (and there are quite a few in Trump arena) , It is impossible to talk, interact with an extremist. In fact When we interact with demagogues in a “polite way”, we are endorsing their profile. when we allow them to post comments on our threads we are confirming their profile
I don’t think we can change the mind of the extremists and manipulators– “ the biggest weapons in any extremist arsenal are the tactics of shaming and guilt-tripping.". and the methods those morons are using is primary -Is based on “feeling - sensitivities, fears, insecurities, core beliefs, religion, politics”, and they are not interested in discus any idea.

And you to appreciate how much Trumpism is one last chance to be right before you pop your clogs. Hindsight is something they plan to be dead for. People don't like to think longterm in aour fast food culture of instant gratification stretching back to the 1950s, but to not even be here in the longterm is the perfection of instant gratification. The greying babies phenomenon is real and it matters, society always had young but now there is a cult of permanent youth. "Right" as in has been proven so. As apposed to following the destroy Trump by any means movement, where making things up is is the norm. You really need to question the people who you have chosen to believe and start digging deeper. Probably to biggest first step to seeing the truth is to leave as much of your emotions as you can at the door. One of the tactics the left uses is to play upon peoples emotions in order to cloud their judgement.The next step is to start watching Fox news at prime time in addition to what ever news you normally watch. There's 3 show's. Hannity, The Ingraham Angle, and Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream. All very informative and if I had to pick one I would say Hannity would be the best.
Do a comparison with what is being said on the news you normally watch and what is said on fox news. This can't be a one time thing, you must give it at least a month. If you leave your emotions out and watch with a clear mind to what"s being reported you will see a pattern where the news you normally watch is changing what Trump actually say's and does into something completely different. You will also see the same pattern in a lot of other news that's being reported.
I know that you and others like you have been convinced that fox news is an extremely far right news channel. That's just not the case. The fact is I wish they were truly far right. They are already the highest rated news channel and I think if they were further to the right their ratings would be a lot higher and they would have at least half the country watching them.
