I had dinner with 3 women at a club I frequent often. Of course Kavanaugh confirmation hearings came up. All three women called the accuser Ford every nasty word you can think of.
They are concerned about the precedence made in this he-said she-said circus where although they don’t see marriage in their lives, they do like male companionship. They think men (my age) will have more than second thoughts about any kind of relationship with women, if what is left of their lives can be ruined by accusation alone.

You have to wonder why Kavanaugh had his family in court, for support? Maybe his wife, but bringing his children?? No decent father would want his child to have to watch him being questioned in such detail. IMO he had them for the emotional effect it would have, and it worked, thousands of people commenting on how sorry they felt for his wife and especially his children. To use his family in this way is about as low as you can get. I actually respected him until he did this.

Same applies to flying, 1 in 3 have a fear of flying but they still make themselves fly when there is no real alternative. That does not make them a liar, it just shows they have some control over that fear.
Some just want to prove Ford is a liar, as that would give a greater chance for Kavanaugh to get selected, by doing so they are bypassing the initial accusation and possibly condoning a man who has inappropriately touched a woman.
