HotrodLarrys: I don't know if I would have a good answer to a punishment at the degree of the country is already in now..I would think that most would act like Adults, and respect the Fire Problems that are already happening there....That also could also be like asking a puppy not to pee on the floor? epirb: In a lot of places they are not allowed to cut the trees down , elevation be a bit of trouble for canals long before finding the water to put in them. Farmers have been stopped doing burn offs and the greenies don't like cattle grazing out alot of the rough land so it burns till Aussies relearn vegetation control . Same mistakes are being made this side of the Tasman .

Rob, that cloud of yours actually looks like a pyrocumulus. They form from the smoke and heat column, have lightning, and sometimes produce local rain. Unlikely with your RH though. Colorado has had big fires here too. You have my sympathies and prayers for an early end to yours.

Two days ago (seriously) three fire fighters in a 8 ton fire truck were putting out grass fires in flat open cropping country, when pyrocumulus like cloud picked up the 8 ton truck and dropped it on its roof killing one of the fire fighters in it.
