LeeCharming: What fear? I don't feel fear at all and a free thinkers...will always look beyond the fake news and hysteria
The simple truth is..regular flu has taken 250,000 a year and the Corona so far...has only taken under 12, 000 people's lives worldwide...more is behind this...than a flu epidemic and I will share more thoughts on this at a later date
Yeah but the flu is not agressive like this is....where you have trouble breathing and throw up blood like tb or pneumonia......yikes.....and there is still not enough known about it...incidentially mentioning the blood throw up was on the news about one of the victims who died of it.....sigh

I'm pretty much like a spayed house cat. I enjoy being a home body. Reading a good book, or watching my fav sports or tv shows. Playing around on the computer. Boring perhaps, but I have nothing to prove.

The first half of my life was very exciting and fulfilling. If I died tomorrow I would be content.
This second half is a more sanguine time in my life. I actually stop AND smell the roses these days.
Afterwards I am so appreciative.
I have enough 'projects' around the house to keep me busy for months.
I'm actually my own best friend (and worst enemy) so I actually enjoy being by myself and alone with my thoughts.
Life has been good, and I thank God everyday for the blessings I receive.

Being able to sit down at a restaurant and be able to find the things I need at the grocery store. At the moment I have only 1 loaf of bread left and the bread shelves have been empty lately. I usually keep 3 loaves in the freezer.

galrads: I miss swimming 44 laps on my back
Leaving home for a bit and going out to visit an art gallery if it is not too crowded.
I see your chronic constipation has become even more severe ...

Try drinking 3 litres of warm salted water - that's usually enough to work through the worst cases !!!

I can donate a restaurant made chicken shahi ... I bought a couple from the local place before lockdown. It occurred to me it would be good to have a treat in store for a rough day and one container divvies down to two meals with rice.

It's yours if you can find a way ...

cheers

I bought a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket and got four meals out of it.

Instead of throwing the carcass away I put it and all the skin in a pot of water and simmered it to bring out the flavor in the bones.

When it was done simmering I took it out of the water to cool down. Then I picked off the bones whatever chicken was left and put the chicken back in the newly brewed broth.

When the broth was cooled down I poured it into plastic milk bottles that I had saved for recycling and then put the bottles in my freezer for future use as broth to make homemade chicken soup.

I got all I could get out of this $7.00 chicken and threw the carcass in the garbage.

Now all I need are fresh carrots, celery and pasta.
