I explicitely mentioned on my profile to not ask for my email as I was hacked a while ago. Still EVERY contact asks for my email. Are there really ony scammers on this site.

I've just read your profile and yeh....given what you've written and the whole tone of it , I'm not surprised you're only getting scammers.

Few people read profiles. Most seem to be "Green light stalkers", they see you are on line, and BAM, they inbox you.
Lots of scammers here, especially lately. The more other sites close down, the more this one gets flooded.
Put something assertive on your profile, especially the header.
Ask if they read profile..yep..then you can't comprehend English? I see it as desperate. They can't wait to know someone. Want to get private and personal immediately. Like Sally Fields, you like me you really like me!! Some want a relationship and grab at any slim hope. If someone sends them email or goes to some app thing to talk, they must want them! My guy and I wrote for months before ever meeting. Got to know each other to see if we really liked each other enough to move forward to next step. I have always had a quirk, pounce on me and I am GONE!! Like a wild animal. I am leery of the ones who say they live..... and then it changes to ....out of your country. Uh huh. I knew a guy who was getting in with a gal. Oh, she is working in the UK now. He sent her money and stuff, drop shipped stuff for her. I warned him... Finally when the FBI contacted him and he found another guy she(?) was doing the same with, he wised up. Had 2K he hadn't laundered for her yet so kept it and wasn't out totally. Too many out there looking for a free ride, one kind or the other.

I continue to be a bit muddled by this: if members want to talk CS provides contact e-mail within the site. You can block by region, or by specific member, and if YOU are blocked by the member’s site email, then you aren’t going to get their private email, either. Go to the person in question’s profile, below it is the click for their on-site email.
My profile states "not looking so no need to message me" This maybe a dating site but they have other "categories" Like the "Puzzle and Games Section" You have to be *logged on* to register your score or post a "Puzzle. I do disappear for a couple of days at a time because you then start to get silly emails when they can clearly read your profile but choose to ignore and send you a message. I'm getting sick and tired of blocking emails. Unless they're my friends of course It does get tiring though..............

The other night, I got a message from someone. Obviously in a different nick name as he'd read my post on the forum where I said I was a smoker. There's nothing on my profile only that I'm not looking. He said, stop smoking or it will kill you. To be totally honest, I have respect for everyone. That's the way I am. I struggled with my weight for 3yrs. I will never be a "stick insect" never in the memory of man but I knew I was overweight. I accepted that and I did something about it to get my hip replacement done. I'm a big person above. My surgeon even said that you have really skinny legs compared to the top half of you Awww bless her. I did it, I bloody well did it, This guy that told me to stop smoking must have been at least 400lbs in his profile pic.. Don't believe everything you see or read here on CS

Yes, most of those ask email and phone numbers write first message is scammer and fake ppl on this site. I personally experience and catch a few then report to the administrator but seem not effective. Maybe the administrator don't care at all. I report many fake photo, cartoon photo, fake profile and inappropriate from this site. After reading and replying their message, you will read weird word but their profile describe as PHD, Degree,Professional status. They even write bad english, spelling mainly incorrect..i find it very inappropriate. This is my experience on this site. Just to share. Good luck !
