I've managed a few float trips and a bit of family time, but most definitely, not the summer of bonfires, daytrips, festivals, outdoor concerts, and long late nights with friends.

My cats all come when I call. And when I dont! I can't walk anywhere on this farm without some following. A couple I swear think they ARE dogs. I was tarring roofs the last couple days. Of course, one climbed the ladder after me. And stepped in tar. Funny watching him trying to throw his hind paw away. Dummy!
I try to not get too attached since they roam and vanish at times. But, some are way cool. One semi pet has a tail like a fox. When she was kitten, used to run with pack ahead of me when I went for mail. Tail all fuzzed out in a bush. I rub her tail backwards, say floofer tail and she fluffs it out and holds it. Only cat with a tail like it.
I let select cats in the house at times for awhile. Most of the time it is NO..as I try to get IN the house. Let them in and then say out..MY house!
Good part with most dogs is they dont climb on things like cats.
We who loved and lost all live in the same world.
