tomcatty: Biris has eased lockdown on us here in England, We can socialise outdoors up to six people, no hugs or snogging.
I am getting ready to go out and face the world. It's a bit scary, but our vaccination rollout has been good in spite of the jealous EEC trying to cause trouble for us, are you guys coming out??

From today in England:

• Groups of up to six people - or two households - can socialise in parks and gardens

• Football and cricket pitches, tennis and basketball courts, outdoor swimming pools can reopen

• Golf courses and sailing clubs can reopen
Outdoor swimming pools in England??? Do you mean the canal?

galrads: are Americans allowed to safely visit there now? My shoes need a shine.
NO! No Americans allowed to visit us Islanders until you can get your own Country in order professor

If you do however visit the UK, then be prepared to have your shoes polished by our professional shoe shiners using our well known "spit"
tongue . Enter at your own risk devil rolling on the floor laughing

So sorry to hear this Tomcrying
My sincere condolences.
I've had 2 good friends pass away with this virus and they were only in their 60's
I feel so proud of what our government is doing at the moment. They made a mistake at the beginning, just like Spain did. Opening up too soon and we all paid the price. Let's just hope that Boris gets it right this time

No international travel for at least the next 3 months
Make people quarantine in the hotels that the government provides at the travellers expense. Keep us Islanders safe

grin

Our top priority thumbs up

Sorry to here this about your sister, Tommy. sad flower

Almost lost my only and younger sister too. I did lose an uncle to covid. I think he was on his way out though with other complications and was 90 plus years old.

I just hope Boris keeps his nerve with people entering the UK, and quarantine the lot.

Why it seems almost perfectly designed to get a fight going. The torture of billions in untold suffering that has to hear about those who would have died soon anyway. People have been insured for way, way too long.

It's just going to be another one those things that antisocial, less intelligent people were right about I think. Thank heavens for marginalised groups.

The same people who knew why communism wouldn't work even if you have turned them into Marxists in a way. I thought British police were supposed to be nice, not the type of amoral sociopath you would have policing a lawless society like South Africa.

The interests of the old rich and big corporations have merged into a political monopoly unequalled in the history of the world. It's never been more apparent that all men live for a small group of men. Unworthy men and their brutes.
