Orzzz: I never look at profiles. But, sometimes a few show up on the bottom of a page. I look at them and so many of them seem to say what they think a gal wants to hear. And all the same. They are kind, loving, cuddling, etc. Looking for the love of their life. Guys and maybe gals, need to be real. Tell about themselves not the trite text of their hunt. People on date sights know no one is looking for a Charles Manson or a wife beater. No one seeks a loser or user. So instead of writing the boring how great you are and that perfect mate you want..write about YOU.
Cannot tell a man to rewrite his profile as he feels a female should compliment him on his profile and tell him how great he is. Most are serial daters anyway and are not interested in a woman as all about them yet we have to accept them that way as a male.
YES, agree, and a lack of empathy, patience, compassion...Also, a dependable person, loyal that you can count on...People are NOT as friendly as they were. Unfortunately, you only get what you paid for in life. Creating a free dating site is a noble cause. However there are professional matchmakers who charge clients $1000s. They have plenty of clients because they introduce clients to quality matches. It's unfortunate for the poor average person on free dating sites as when you get something free it's of no value so you act accordingly. In many cases the owners make no money or just sell unrelated advertising. To make money; create a good single site and aim a specialty singles market; have a well tried matchmaking system and you will always have clients and earn good money. If you do not understand human nature then employ someone who does to help you create a quality dating site. Or become a marketing affiliate for an existing single business.
