If we connected, were compatible, and he was ok with it too, I suppose I would be willing to give it a try.
I have never dated a guy that much younger than me, so it would be rather strange, at least at first. But I wouldn't totally write it off if we had a lot in common, and got on well.
Any younger/older though, I might feel a bit odd...

Ten years older, quite likely. Ten years younger, probably not.... maybe up to five years younger.

I was dating a guy 7 years younger and loved it. I don't know that I would go 10 years older. Would have to know the guy and go from there.

Neither. I have a strict 5 year either way limit. Though for the right guy, I may budge 1-2 years older or 1 year younger than the listed

Older= I'm 31. I want a child of my own someday. Most guys in their upper 30s/early 40s don't want that.

Younger = I have brothers that are 19 & 24. It would just be odd to date someone THAT close to my brother's ages. Heck, my brother's would probably get along better with them that I would. Though, my youngest brother's just turned 19yr old friend keeps telling me "I love you" and spends all his time flirting with me whenever I'm around. I told him, "age 7 years over night and we'll talk", lol.

10 yrs older? Shoowaarrr.. I'd prefer that.. then hopefully (she says lol).. they would be more mature.

10yrs younger? nope.. to be honest I would even like 1yr younger... haha

My ex husband was 2.5yrs younger than me. I was just *back tracking* then.. and so have of my old BF's been younger than me. Oo I've only just realised that haha.

I'd prefer someone who had already been around the block a good few times.

I think people, when dating older people, should be careful that they are not doing it just to have someone there or to have a father/mother figure........

Speaking out of experience, it was the fact that I had someone to go out with and talk to.........it was more companionship......and although we are great friends now, it would of been wiser just to stay friends.

Don't you think it also depends on how old you are. A person who is 60 may still like going out but if the guy is 70 he may be too old to enjoy going out anymore, if he is able to still walk.banana

No its not healthy.......but I suppose some people seek that out of life......each to their own as long as nobody is hurt....

I'd date them if they were 10 years younger cos they're still fun to be with and not past it. Also, they are not usually fuddy duddy and fogeyfied thumbs up

As for 10 years older... No chance thumbs down as they are usually boring, set in their ways and past it and very fogeyfied thumbs down

I had issues with it when I first broke up with my X, but now age isn't a big deal, I've met some young ladies that are very mature, and I've met some older ladies that, well needed to grow up. It's not a age issue IMO
