I finally made contact with rwantin, by phone. It is always interesting to finally match someone's writing, sense of humour etc., to a real voice and personality. It was a pleasure. A wonderful conversation ensued and with someone who possesses a perfectly modulated voice (I'm a voice person)
Rwantin, hope you don't find this thread intrusive. Just had to share my experience. People should call each other more often on this site.

Funny, but I did imagine Rwantin to have a very calm and soothing, well modulated voice. You all have voices in my head

I'm sure he wont mind, Leo. He has a grand gentleness of spirit to match his perfectly modulated voice.
(too bad Sprint wont take that into consideration on the bill... JOKING Wobbert!!!)
Claayer: haha me too.. and I have last months $700 phone bill to prove it.
You guys need to download Skype. Once you have dowloaded, you need a set of headphones whish has an in-built micorphone (£20) and as long as you have both downloaded it and sorted out the settings you can speak COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE for as many hours as you want (no need to buy "phone credits" if you both on it. ANd if you have a cam it's brilliant because you can also see one another just like a TV screen!!!!
Claayer, Argos do headphones/mike/cam set for very reasonable prices!!! Get shopping!!!

I have thought about it.. but I like the freedom of being wherever and being able to talk.. even if we am not at home. Hence the big bill.. haha
mind you.. that bill was higher than normal because when I was IN the USA I forgot about the international roaming charges being so high.. eg: I called Mr McMaybe from a connecting airport.. 30mins.. $80..
Not intrusive at all my friend. As you say, after all this time, it was good to talk to you.
As I had mentioned, it's a bit tough for me to talk on the phone at first. Then again, someone here has done a grand job of busting me out of that shell.

and thats only MY bill.
Who says you MUST use only ONe means of communication Claayer? You can still keep your freedom but if you use skype when you're home it would cut down the overall bill

We do use skype quite a bit but were not always at home when we talk so the phone's the next best thing to use
