So, if I may try to summarize:
There are two types of being high maintenace:
Money: you got it, she wants it and likes to spend it
Emotion: she wears you out with all her emotional needs
How soon into a relationship do you determine if she is high maintenance? Some men must like women like this, or they would not use these tactics....they'd be alone.
Is it only 'beautiful' women who can get away with being high maintance?

I think the deciding factor in wether a man or a woman turns out to be a high-maintenance type of personality is to a large degree a factor of their childhood and upbringing....tell me what kinda childhood you had, and what types of men you go for, and I'll can make a good guess wether u are high-maintenance or not....

I don't understand the question or premise of high maintenance.
If I am in love with a woman who needs emotional support, I am there for her. If she needs monetary things to help make her life better, I would give it to her. I don't call these things maintenance...I call it caring, compassionate and understanding.
