KHD100: A gun..... too many of them around.
Used to think.... not here, not in my home town..... I left for 23 yrs, and thought the crime where I lived was way too much and out of control. thought the people living there, just shrugged their shoulders and did not care.
I came back here, and can not get over how stupid it has gotten here. Too much violence, guns and just plain old out of control idiots.
Here is one for the never list.... never in my neighborhood.
Guns do not solve problems, the idiots using them cause problems.

I have been watching this story since it happend and it so bizzare. The attacker was Asian and the victim is a 22 year old Carvival woekr who was coming home to Winnipeg to his home. The victim and the attakcer were stting side by side acorrding to the witness who was sitting one seat ahead and on the opposite side of them. He told everyone to get off the bus. They are are still in shock of course. he attacker just stabbed him and kept it up and when everyone was off the bus te Attacker went to the front of the bus with the victims decapitated head and showed everyone and just let the head drop. I is on every newscast here since yesterday. NOT on is this story disturbing, they are calling the attacker a SUSPECT.

Not one iota! I just thought it was odd that 2 of the most notorious murder cases in recent times were by Asians. It does seem odd given how law abiding Asians typically are. I wonder if it has something to do with cultural differences such as a possible lack of acceptance or understanding by westerners.

Cultural differences don't make any difference if somebody has an urge to kill. Law abiding citizens come in all shapes and forms.

They said on television that the attacker delivered the journal and other papers door to door. The place where he worked said that he was going to Winnipeg for a job interview and would let him know the results. He quit his job just two days before. His employer said he seemed like just a normal guy.

Thats what makes it unusual, if they guy was white or black I wouldn't have even thought of commenting on his race but it is exactly because he is Asian that it is so hard to believe these 2 heinous crimes were commited by an Asian. It's just not like them.
I agree with your point about cultural differences.
As to the method of execution it is my understanding ( I am probably wrong and I'm sure you will correct me) that this is the method employed in Russia as opposed to lethal injection where everybody worries about the condemned having some pain in the process the way bleeding hearts here in America do.
Anyway, if I misrepresented the Russian justice system I appologize.
