Diceman, thanks for sharing. Sorry for all the questions, but have you ever cured anyone with a disease? And I know there are many people who share your same gift. You should be proud of it indeed. Anyone in your family with the same gift? I think you should try and get in touch with other people with the same gift or at least have a webpage..

So what about Doctors?

Personally, I don't see a problem with it if one is just trying to get by. But if it becomes exploitations and overstepping boundaries as far as what they promise to deliver, then I can see a problem...

StressFree: I thought you were an atheist? Anyways, it's just how he uses his gifted energy. His vibration is a little different than your average joe....I do believe that a lot of people can learn how to manipulate energy in this way, but they have to believe it first. And of course being taught this gift by a teacher is not that easy to find in this twisted world...

Nothing in this vane (metaphysical) works when ego gets in the way, that includes people who are out for gains. The people Ship is talking about are takers, not givers and thats all about ego. cheers

Most of the famous people we have were better at what they did until ego, fame and fortune ruined what they have.

televangelists are all quacks.

I have personally witnessed 2 instances of divine healing and there was no other explanation. The healings were by very humble people who were seeking no rewards. The came in, quietly prayed, and left only to have both patients make complete recoveries.

One was a 17 year old girl who had some sort of bacterial infection that dr.s couldn't figure out. She was on a ventilator and not doing well. The 80 or so year old woman came in and asked if she could pray. We said yes, she did. Heather immediately began improving and left the hospital just a few short days later.

a 2nd was a boy who was to have brain surgery for a tumor. An area pastor came and prayed for him quietly. Everyone who witnessed it, including me can't even tell you what it was like. Just quiet, powerful prayer.....

The next day, no tumor was found in the little boy.

whether religious or atheist, take a look at the human body, and the universe in general- it is so uncomprehendably incredible, that for there NOT to be other, seemingly unexplainable phenomenom in existence, is just plain daft, in my book.
I understand what the body does, but that still cant explain to me HOW- how does the brain know that eg, blood sugar is low and t get the liver to up it, yes i understand the mechanics, but HOW!!!!frustrated

so why shouldn['t there be people with the energy to heal things?- after all , certain plants can cure , or relieve diseases, so why shouldn't a human be able to? I'm not saying a healer would be my first port of call if i was diagnosed with something terrible, but you can be sure I would give it a college try!!

No...never said I was an Atheist! I just don't believe in the same god that most of these so called christians believe in.

I try to not capitalize the word god, as I am not talking about any specific god, and most of the time I manage to not delegate a gender to this higher power. Sometimes I mess up and say he...though I doubt a higher power has any gender

Okay, sorry about that. I totally understand where you are coming from...this western concept of God. I too get a bit frustrated when people refer to God or the God Source and Force as a he...

Basically- cells have some encoded information and move about at the instruction of energy using neuro transmitters. Energy can even change or alter the encoded information in a cell, turn it from say a stomach cell to a blood cell for instance.

What we're talking about here is a person who can direct the body's energy at a cellular level.

Not uncommon or implasuable really. Do the lemon test and it isnt long before saliva forms in your mouth, the power of a thought, instructing cells. Anything that isnt instructed happens according the cells code or other influences, such as what chemicals might cause, or bacteria and or thoughts etc...
